These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Tarrith website and your enrolment in any Tarrith reading programme or workshop. By using this website or submitting an enrolment enquiry, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use this website or enrol in our programmes. Questions may be directed to [email protected].

- "Tarrith" / "we" / "us" / "our" refers to the programme provider operating at 152 Beach Road, #21-08, Gateway East, Singapore 189721.
- "Programme" refers to any reading programme, workshop, or reading group offered by Tarrith.
- "Participant" / "you" refers to any individual who enrols in or attends a Programme.
- "Website" refers to the Tarrith website accessible at https://tarriths.sbs.
- "Materials" refers to reading binders, vocabulary cards, summary sheets, playbooks, and any other printed or digital content distributed in connection with a Programme.
2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry form or enrolment request, you confirm that:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms
- You understand that our Programmes are educational only and do not constitute financial advice
3. Programme Description and Scope
Programme Description and Scope
Tarrith operates as an educational programme provider. Our Programmes:
- Are educational in nature and draw exclusively on publicly available documents
- Do not constitute regulated financial advice under the Financial Advisers Act (Singapore)
- Do not include product recommendations, referrals to financial institutions, or individual advice
- Are conducted in small cohorts in person at our premises in Singapore
- Are available to adults aged 40 and above, subject to cohort availability
4. Enrolment and Payment
Enrolment and Payment
Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full programme fee payment. Programme fees are as follows:
- Pre-Retirement Reading Programme: S$650
- Family Money Meetings Workshop: S$190
- Singapore Savings Schemes Reading Group: S$310
All fees are in Singapore Dollars and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Payment methods are confirmed at the time of enrolment. A tax invoice will be issued upon payment.
Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellations notified at least 14 days before the first session date are eligible for a full refund less an administrative fee of S$30. Cancellations notified fewer than 14 days before the first session date are not eligible for a refund, but participants may transfer their place to a subsequent cohort at no additional charge, subject to availability. Once a programme has commenced, fees are non-refundable.
5. Participant Responsibilities

As a participant, you agree to:
- Complete pre-session reading as distributed in advance of each session
- Engage respectfully with other cohort participants and facilitators
- Not record sessions (audio or video) without prior written consent from Tarrith
- Not reproduce or distribute programme Materials for commercial purposes
- Not represent Tarrith programme content as personal financial advice when sharing it with others
- Provide accurate contact information at the time of enrolment
6. Intellectual Property
Intellectual Property
All programme Materials, including binders, vocabulary cards, summary sheets, and playbooks, are the intellectual property of Tarrith unless otherwise stated. Reading materials drawn from publicly available official documentation remain the property of their respective government sources.
Participants are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Materials for their own reference purposes. Commercial reproduction, resale, or public distribution of Materials is not permitted without prior written consent.
7. Disclaimers
Disclaimers
Tarrith's Programmes are educational and informational. We make no representation that programme content will meet any particular participant's individual circumstances. Specifically:
- Nothing in any Programme constitutes regulated financial advice
- We do not represent the accuracy of third-party scheme documentation referenced in Materials beyond what is publicly available at time of printing
- Scheme rules and regulations may change; participants should verify current details with the relevant government body
- Participation in a Programme does not produce a qualification, certificate, or accreditation of any kind
8. Limitation of Liability
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Tarrith's total liability to you in connection with any Programme or use of this Website shall not exceed the programme fee paid by you. Tarrith shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including financial decisions made on the basis of educational content discussed in any Programme.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tarrith and its staff from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of programme Materials, or your conduct in connection with any Programme.
10. Termination
Termination
Tarrith reserves the right to remove a participant from a Programme, without refund, where that participant has materially breached these Terms, behaved in a manner disruptive to other participants, or provided materially false information at enrolment. Where Tarrith cancels a Programme before commencement, enrolled participants will receive a full refund within 14 days.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith informal negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to mediation under the Singapore Mediation Centre's mediation rules before any legal proceedings are commenced.
The courts of Singapore shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute not resolved through mediation.
12. General Provisions
General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any enrolment confirmation issued to you, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tarrith in relation to any Programme.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver: Failure by Tarrith to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your programme place without prior written consent from Tarrith.
13. Changes to These Terms
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled participants by email at least 14 days before taking effect. The current version is always available at this URL. Continued use of our Website or participation in any Programme after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
